Simon Vreeswijk: Drupal SEO Specialist
As SEO Specialist, Simon is helio’s ultimate resource. He’s been working with Drupal since 2006, is a graduate of Q College’s Web Development and Internet Marketing Program and teaches Drupal SEO with DrupalSchoolhouse.ca. If a company wants to own a top spot in Google search rankings, create brand awareness online or drive traffic to their website, Simon is their man.
Simon began as a web developer but quickly found himself intrigued by the challenge of gaining top search engine rankings. Finding this to be an integral part of promoting a business online and one of the most overlooked aspects of creating a successful website, Simon moved in to the field full-time. When the days of Dreamweaver and hand coding were coming to an end, Simon chose Drupal as his CMS of choice. Its flexibility and scalability allows it to be the most search engine friendly option available.
Brittany Morrow: Web Marketing Coordinator
Brittany is our Web Marketing Coordinator, which means she handles everything from sales to strategy, including business development and client relations. Her ambition and motivation, combined with her Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing and International Business, makes her perfect for this constantly-growing industry.
Brittany’s strong interest in international SEO stems from her love of travel. She lived in Denmark for a year, working in the tech industry and has traveled all over the world. She also has an ever-growing collection of Rosetta Stone software, which feeds her constant hunger for languages. Because most of the world doesn’t speak English, Brittany uses multi-language SEO to open the doors to global interconnectivity.
Stacey Santos: Copywriter
As Copywriter, Stacey gets to indulge in her favourite activities: writing, research and editing. That might make her sound like a word-nerd, but as a self-professed grammar junkie, she’s okay with that. Stacey takes great pleasure in her job’s diverse subject matter and loves crafting SEO-friendly web content and articles.
Stacey has been writing both creative articles and SEO-friendly content since 2006, with her work being published in magazines, newspapers and online. She graduated from the University of Victoria with a BA in Writing, specializing in creative non-fiction, which allowed her to develop a personable, yet factual, writing style. She’s comfortable writing about any subject in the world, from science to pop culture.
